  • October 1999: Simple version of Bandung City Homepage online for the first time with homepage.com server with address www.bandungcity.homepage.com. Contents: index.htm, bdg.htm, gg.htm, and links.htm.

  • November 1999: Signed in for lycos guestbook.

  • January 2000: Overall renovation in web design and content of bandungcity.homepage.com. Change front page design to the column type. Uploaded more than 30 photos from photo hunting result in bandung (original pictures of GTG). Uploaded old photos from Haryoto Kunto's documentation. Create many additional pages: history.htm, alun2.htm, aa.htm, gesat.htm, parks.htm, spots.htm. mount.htm, sunda.htm, and all city information pages.

  • 2001: Created braga.htm and add date/time java script in the top of front page.

  • 2001: Stayed in top of most search engine search list for "bandung" keyword. 

  • 2001: Used parisvanjava.com link temporarily.

  • 2001: Included script for real-time detik.com news highlight temporarily.

  • 2001: Choosen by Asiaweek International Magazine as an unofficial internet resource for bandung city on The 20 Best Cities of Asia articles.

  • September 2001: homepage.com server was not in service anymore. Bandung City Homepage have to find another internet server to keep online.

  • September 2001: Transferred all html data from homepage.com server to geocities.com server with new Bandung City Homepage address www.geocities.com/bandungcity  

  • 2001: Activated bdgcity mailing list in yahoogroups server for site visitor communication tools.

  • 2001: Create dpaseban.htm with old bandung / parijs van java aerial scanned photographs from Raymond Webb, one of our contributor from netherland.

  • 2002: Created food2.htm for cuisine information and febi.htm for factory outlet information.

  • 2002: Created map.htm for as complete bandung map resource.

  • June 2003: Created eric.htm, based on email and photos taken by Eric Neyndroff, one of our dutch contributor.

  • July 2003: Created fleay.htm , based on Stephen Fleay's article of his impression about bandung. Stephen is one of our australian contributor .

  • October 2003: Created sitemap.htm, sitehis.htm, sun.htm.

  • February 2004: Created restomap.htm and oleh2map.htm. Add new photos of BIP and Siliwangi street artistic wall on spots.htm.

  • March 2004: Uploaded more new bandung photos for aa.htm, alun2.htm, spots.htm, and build.htm

  • December 2004: Uploaded braga2.htm with brand new braga street pictures.

  • January 2005: Uploaded cityhall.htm, gesat2.htm, green.htm and many new pictures of bandung

  • March 2005: Gedung Sate's picture that taken by the webmaster and published in Bandung City Homepage (www.geocities.com/bandungcity/RSCN5363.jpg) has been choosen by Wundermann Advertising to be background for one of Citibank advertisement with 2.5 million rups compensation. 

  • April 2005: signed up for Geocities plus, with monthly charge for more data transfer (5,000 MB), more disk space capacity (25 MB), and free from pop up advertising.

  • June 2005: Bandung City Homepage reached 100,000 visitors for the first time after 5 years online. Always stay in the top of search engine search list for keyword "bandung".

  • February 2006: Created old.htm to present the beauty of Bandoeng, parijs van java in 1930's.

  • June 2007: Bandung City Homepage reached 200,000 visitors. It means 100,000 visitors for 2 years period (June 2005 - June 2007).

  • May 2008: Created johan.htm, based on original Bandung story and picture from Johan de Nijs (Opa) who live in Bandung on period 1932-1954. Now he lives in North Carolina, US in the age more than 84th years old.

  • June 2009: Activated bandungcity group in facebook for site visitor and bandung's lover communication tools.

  • September 2009: Bandung City Homepage reached 300,000 visitors.

  • October 2009: Geocities.com closing. 

• bandungsae.com

  • October 2009: Bandung City Homepage moved to the new domain name bandungsae.com with Yahoo webhosting service . Bandungsae.com listed as top 20 google search and yahoo search with keyword 'bandung'. The domain name came from the words: Bandung Sae. Sae is sunda / bandung local language which means 'good'.

  • May 2010: add merdekabraga.htm, photo hunting around merdeka street

  • September 2010: upload some new pictures of Bandung Heritage Building architecture at buildet.htm. Taken while lebaran vacation 1431H.
